Soba 1 and Soba 2 (Which translate from Slovenian to "Room") were one of the first things made by the Optika! Video employees. Soba is a collection of 2 shorts made about 5 months apart (The first one before the founding of Optika! in April 2022).
The making of Soba 1:
The beginnings of Soba 1 start of 26/02/2022, with a small table and a glass cube(no surviving photos exist of this). Eventually a modifier was added to the cube and it turned into a weird vase thing
Then the vase thing was replaced with a glass torus
After which the room was changed, and a picture of a duck was added to the wall, as well as a window later on.
The next day, the Soba project was officially started, the oldest photo after the official start of the project was taken about 3 hours before the final render was started
The oldest know video remaining from the Early Production faze is from about 2 hours before the final render, it was rendered at only 128x96p because of time restrictions. The most noticible change is the end, which is completely missing the final "torus levitation" part

The making of Soba 2:
Work on Soba 2 started about 5 months after Soba 1, on 11/07/2022. Soba 2 went through quite a lot of troubles during animation, with the having to resort back to an old save of the files multible times. Only one surviving clip named "1.0.mp4" remains from the first day of making Soba 2
Everything from 12/07 and 13/07 is lost, and due to the multible issues which plagued development, (Which include a power outage and Blender crashing), not much progress was made. The second oldest file remaining is from 14/07/2022, named "2.0.mp4", in which camera movement was added. But the Torusknot, table and picture frame are still not the final color/texture
Over the next day, large amounts of progress were made. With multible sections added, (Which include a liquid simulation, vertical tunnel, tea, and a long corridor). The final render was made about 1 day after 2.0.mp4 and about 4 days after 1.0.mp4.
In Epic Oskar Edit 2, The files for Soba 2 were reused for the "Matijas house" scene.
Other films:
Inbetween the production of Soba 1 & 2, another similer film was made named "Office". Made in May 2022 and rendered at 1 sample because of time restrictions.
